Digidesign Command8

Er is intussen meer bekend over de nieuwe control surface van Digidesign : Command8
Alles op een rijtje :

- Pro Tools TDM or LE systems
- Windows XP or Mac OS X
- USB connection
- 8 bankable channels of touch-sensitive motorized faders,
- 8 rotary encoders with LED rings,
- LCD display 110-characters(55 characters x 2 rows)
- 1in/2out MIDI interface (16 channels in/32 channels out)
- standalone MIDI controller mode enables you to use Command|8 with your favorite third-party MIDI applications and devices : any device or application that accepts MIDI control change messages for level, panning, solo, mute, MIDI Machine Control, and other mappable parameters.
- onboard monitor system featuring acclaimed Focusrite audio performance and quality. It supports a Main Pro Tools Input, External source (a turntable mixer or CD player, for example) and separate speaker and headphone outputs.
- supports AVID products natively, including Avid Media Composer.
- may be used in conjunction with ProControl, Control|24, or Digi 002

While there are several Pro Tools-compatible compact control surface options from third-party manufacturers, only Command|8 is made by Digidesign and Focusrite specifically for Pro Tools. As a result, Command|8 provides a great deal more sophisticated control with Pro Tools software, and has been tested and qualified specifically for Pro Tools.

Vergelijkbaar met MackieControl, dus rond de 1250 à 1400 euro.

gewoon de MachieControl dus jah zo'n mooi design echt *zucht*

Jammer dat hij geen Jog/Shuttle draaischijf heeft, wat de MackieControl trouwens wél heeft.
Maar de 8 rotary encoders zijn wel groter en hebben een betere "feel" dan die van de MackieControl.

als ik het dus goed begrijp is deze wél geschikt voor cubase sx en logic? en de 002 niet?
WAAROM brengen ze geen combinatie uit :/
