Hoewel ik niet zo van het programma zelf houd, heeft Reason best wel mooie sample sets. Die piano is errug mooi. Kan ik al dat moois ook buiten Reason gebruiken op een makkelijke manier (exporten)? (Ik kan natuurlijk altijd omslachtig Total Recorder gebruiken.)

de makkelijkste manier is denk ik om een midi riedeltje in de sequencer te laden dat alle multisamples van de piano afspeelt...en dan de export functie in reason gebruiken om dit naar een .WAV of .AIFF te exporteren..

je bedoeld the ReFill maker? die is bedoeld om reason patches te bundelen in 1 file, een refill voor makkelijke distributie...converteert helaas geen reason sounds naar .wav of .aiff...
als je het over een ander proggie hebt dan ben ik ook wel geinteresseerd...link?

Ik haal dit iets oudere topic een beetje omhoog, maar ik wil toch graag weten of het mogelijk is samples uit de soundbank te exporteren in rex formaat, zodat ik deze mbv ReCycle! naar mijn Akai sampler kan sturen.

Jammer, toch bedankt.
Ik heb ze nu eruit gehaald met Total Recorder. Total Recorder kan alles opnemen omdat hij je PC nept door te doen alsof hij een geluidskaart is. En dan gewoon elke sample achter elkaar aanklinken (op load sample drukken en auto play aanzetten).
Met Recycle heb ik ze dan snel in stukjes gehakt voor elke noot. Nu zitten er nog stukjes stilte achter elke noot maar ja ik ben te lui om dat weg te halen.

en daar heb je weer een optie voor in SoundForge en Wavelab. Die deelt alles in stukjes...

Free VST shell for Recycled loops
Bitshift Audio is a new name to us, but they’re presenting an interesting take on the VST Instrument format. Their PhatMatik allows users of VST 2.0-compatible software to play back the REX-format samples generated by Propellerhead’s Recycle loop-manipulation software. With this combination, users can now put together loop-based productions directly in their digital audio workstation of choice, without having to switch between several different programs for loop production, MIDI and audio.
Bitshift claim that PhatMatik is the first VST instrument that can extract the ‘groove’ information from a REX file and export it as a Standard MIDI File, allowing users to reconstruct the original groove in their MIDI-capable VST host without a REX authoring tool.
Additionally, the plug-in provides the user with standard sample-manipulation tools such as ADSR amplitude envelope and two-pole resonant low-pass/high-pass filter. If you’re not able to create your own REX files, you could access third-party commercial or free examples; Bitshift themselves will be posting a regularly updated selection on their web site.
Currently, PhatMatik is Windows-only, although a Mac version is being developed. And the best news is that the plug-in is downloadable for free!
