Ola!

I have to mail a friend who wanted this, but if he
doesn't then it's yours. It was almost an uber_sidstation - it has my
mods inside, torn down to prevent others from replicating... The unit
works 100% perfectly and looks even better due to the new added toggle
switches and 3 knobs... (seriously). I don't care about the mod anymore
so If you're into electronics a bit, I could explain how it works and you
could finish it. The sid filter is analog, that's what makes it sound so
good. I exploited this by adding circuitry to each filter pole. The ideal
mod would offer 3 modes of feedback (see the sid doesn't feed back enough
to self oscillate naturally).. 1: diode, 2: vactrol, 3: ringmod each pole
against the other (wicked). Someone could easily make a business out of
adding these to sidstations. Now, if someone could only adapt a noise
reduction circuit and also overclock the sid, then you'd be onto something.
