ChordSet is a utility device which allows to program, store and play "one-finger" chords. Connect it to your favorite sound modules (synths, samplers, etc.) via the Note and Gate CV outputs, and play complex, luscious chords with a single key press.

When programming chords, the device offers total flexibility: just select a root note, and then use the shift knobs to start stacking additional notes. For each instance of ChordSet, you can program a total of 12 chords of up to 7 notes each.

Once you have several chords which form a nice progression, you can store them in a patch for later use. And thanks to the "Global Transpose" knob, it is easy to tune the entire chord set to the key of a new project.

In addition to the chord CV outs, the device also has separate outs for the root note and each shift note. This makes it possible to create advanced setups for harmonic and melodic experimentation.

The factory patches are sure to inspire with a collection of chords for different styles of music.

Hier ben ik erg enthousiast over, ik heb hem mogen beta testen, dynamische EQ:

Heb er al wat mee gespeeld. Heb een track waar ik twee baslijnen in heb en die vechten met elkaar (overlappende frequenties, 'modderige sound'). Met EQ heb ik het na lang prutsen iets beter gekregen, maar nooit echt zoals ik wil (heb wel nog niet veel ervaring met het deftig afmixen van tracks).

Dan die Carve gebruikt en dat werkt best wel goed, maar momenteel is de Amount (AMT) knop veel te overdreven (gaat van 0% tot 300% EQ cut). Gelukkig heeft Ochen K. op het reasontalk forum al aangekondigd dat hij een update gaat uitbrengen waar je kan kiezen tussen een Amount (AMT) van 0% tot 300% of een Amount (AMT) die van 0% tot 10% gaat (met die laatste kan je dus veel nauwkeuriger kiezen voor een heel subtiele EQ cut). Denk dat ik deze Rack Extension ga kopen.

nou weet ik ook wel dat het om de sound van die RE's gaat....

..maar ik vind veel van die dingen er erg knullig uit zien. Reason zelf is mooi qua grafisch design. Maar die RE's zien er uit alsof het gratis VST's zijn.
