Soundbank importeren Roland JP8080

Mensen,

Ik ben sinds gisteren in het bezit van wat nieuwe soundbanks voor mijn Roland JP8080.
Nu weet ik uit het verleden dat bij mijn Access Virus B het een instelling was en dan het een kwestie van midi afspelen en opslaan is.

Alleen ik heb mijn handleiding zitten doorlezen maar kan niks vinden mbt het importeren van een soundbank.

Heeft iemand hier ervaring mee, en zou deze persoon dit eventueel met mij willen delen?

Heb het volgende gevonden maar is het een bulk restore dat ik moet uitvoeren of niet?

When you wish to restore settings saved by Bulk Dump
back to internal memory, connect the external MIDI device
to the MIDI IN connector of the JP-8080.
* When data is restored to internal memory, the data
which had been in internal memory will be overwritten
and lost. However, the factory-set data can be recovered
by performing the Factory Reset operation. (p.140)
1 Use a MIDI cable to connect the MIDI OUT connector
of the external sequencer to the MIDI IN connector
of the JP-8080.
2 Set the Device ID Number to the same setting as
when the Bulk Dump was executed.
[MIDI]: Device ID (p.123)
3 Turn the Exclusive Receive Switch ON.
[MIDI]: Rx Exclusive SW (p.124)
4 Transmit (playback) the data from the external
sequencer.
* Playback the external sequencer at the same tempo that
was used when recording the bulk dump. If the playback
tempo is faster, it may be impossible to restore the
settings correctly.
* On the JP-8080, all Motions and Patterns share the same
memory space. This means that depending on the current
memory usage, a Motion that was dumped may
cause a “Memory Full!” display to appear when it is
sent back to the JP-8080, and that it will not be possible
to send the data back to the JP-8080. If this occurs, delete
unneeded Patterns or Motions from memory (p.97, 102),
and transmit the bulk data back to the JP-8080 once
again.
 Hints
When recording your playing on an external sequencer, it is
convenient to use Bulk Dump to record the JP-8080’s PERFORM:
TEMP settings at the beginning of the recording.
If this is done, the JP-8080 will automatically be given those
Performance settings when the song is played back, so that
you will not need to select the Performance before playback.
Furthermore, even if the Performance settings are modified
after the song is recorded, the playback will still use exactly
the same settings.

Als het gaat om die Vengeance dingen, volgens mij zit daar een programaatje bij waarmee je die dingen supermakkelijk kan importeren!

Ik denk dat jij het hebt over de winjplib die heb ik op mijn pc staan

Alleen hoe stel je je jp zo in dat hij inkomende signalen opslaat in zijn geheugen

Welk van de onderstaande handelingen moet ik volgen(zie bijlage) ?

De tweede sowieso niet, dat is om de patches van de JP op je pc op te slaan.

Waarschijnlijk als je de patches met WinJPLib verstuurd worden ze meteen overschreven op de JP, zoniet dan zet je zoals in bijlage 1 de RX exclusive SW op ON. Ik snap niet dat je hier al een dag mee bezig bent, met een beetje proberen had je dit in een half uurtje zelf uitgezocht.

Onthoud wel dat je patches van de JP worden overschreven, als je dat niet wil moet je eerst een bulk dump doen, zoals in bijlage 2 staat.

Hey man thanx voor je reactie ik ga vanavond (als ik tijd heb ) eens kijken of dit gaat werken.

De reden waarom ik dit nog niet voor elkaar gekregen heb is omdat ik zoon 80 uur in de week werk .

Het werkt bij mij niet.

Ik speel de midi netjes af zet alles gewoon goed op de Roland maar hij neemt gewoon niks op er gebeurd ook niks op mijn roland hij zou toch reseiving ofzo moeten zeggen...?

Ik heb alles gewoon goed gedaan zoals in de handleiding stond alleen het geene wat nog ontbreekte was het indrukken van de perform/patch select button

Hij stond ingesteld op Perform en niet op patch dus daarom zag ik mijn geimporteerde sound bank niet staan

Ze zeggen wel eens het zijn de kleine dingen die het ehm doen

Toch wil ik nog even iedereen bedankt die mij hier bij geholpen heeft
