The PLG150-DR includes a huge number of brand new drum samples with Live Room ambience recorded at one of LA's top studios.
Plus, the card has many of the core drum kits of the Motif, like the Mondo Rock kit. Featuring extremely long and multi-position cymbal samples, a wide variety of different snares, kicks and toms, the PLG150-DR's kits are focused on quality but still provide lots of variation.
The PLG150-DR plug-in board has its own reverb, chorus/echo and variation effects to give you even more freedom to produce your music just the way you like.

Yamaha's Modular Synthesis Plug-in System is a revolutionary expansion system that adds a COMPLETE SYNTHESIZER or SOUND PROCESSING ENGINE to any Modular-Synthesis-Plug-in- compatible synthesizer. Yamaha's amazing plug-in board lineup, which includes the PLG150 Professional Series not only gives you new sounds, but also new synthesis architecture, new effects processors, extra polyphony and more. It's like placing an additional synthesizer or digital effects processor inside your existing keyboard but at a fraction of the cost!
Once a plug-in board is installed, you can directly access any of its voices and edit them from the front panel of the host synthesizer. You can also use a PC-based software editor (bundled with each plug-in board) to edit any of the voices in detail.
