Novation ReMOTE ZeRO-SL overview The ReMOTE ZeRO-SL from Novation is a USB/MIDI controller, that contains all of the features of the ReMOTE-SL keyboard controllers, except for the keyboard, joystick and touchpad. Aside from a very comprehensive collection of rotary controllers, faders, buttons and trigger pads, the ReMOTE ZeRO-SL sports two large, brightly lit LCD screens that are able to display up to sixteen parameter names and values simultaneously.
When the controller is connected to a computer via the USB port, an intelligent Automap mode detects whatever virtual instruments or applications are open, and automatically maps the controls of the unit to the most logical assignments for that software. Eight trigger pads provide an easy way to program rhythms, or trigger samples. The unit can be powered from the USB bus, via four "C" size batteries, or by employing an optional external power supply.
