Bil Smith Composer
I am a contemporary composer who works in a conceptual aesthetic that eschews traditional notation systems and in turn, creates a new tablature for the performer. Influences include the art of Lucio Fontana, Dadaist Etymology, Alberto Burri (Combustion); the music of Morton Feldman, Pierluigi Billone and John Cage.

how, je moet er wel van houden hé.. Dat doe ik helaas niet.. Werkte een beetje op mijn zenuwen, sorry. Maar ik heb wel geluisterd hé

Valt dit voor jou onder muziek? (Niet dat je dat ergens zegt, maar gewoon uit interesse). Het komt op mij meer over als een soort geluidskunst. De klanken doen mij in ieder geval niets.

En je hebt dit gemaakt voor een andere componist? Hoe zit dat dan? Gaat hij daar dan iets mee doen?

Ik snap dat dit voor veel mensen niet als muziek klinkt.
Dus bedankt voor het luisteren!
Bil Smith geeft les op Hunter, the City University of New York.
Daar gebruiken ze ook mijn boek over modulaire synthese.
In dit stuk maak ik gebruik van 1 Clavia NMG2 performance patch.
Die performance patch heb ik dus 'ontworpen' voor hem.
Misschien dat hij deze in zijn lessen verklaart.
