To celebrate I passed my doctoral exam Social Geography at the University of Amsterdam with a thesis that carries the title ‘The Hague Rocks the Planet: the West Coast Sound of Holland en Internet’, there will be a special party in the obscure basement of discotheque City Lido in the dreary streets somewhere in the Dutch Eastside periphery in a small village called Groenlo.
