Belkin introduces the TuneStudio

Currently on show at CES in Las Vegas and Macworld Expo in San Francisco is Belkin’s new TuneStudio for 5th generation video iPods. The company say that it is the first four-channel audio mixer that lets you create high-quality digital recordings directly onto your iPod. This mixer allows the input of up to four different instruments or audio sources, and records the audio onto your iPod for instant playback.
With phantom-powered XLR inputs and 16bit/44.1kHz audio quality it looks like TuneStudio could be a useful little piece of kit. It also acts as an external USB sound card, allowing the input of audio from a PC source as well as output to a PC from any of TuneStudio’s connector inputs.

A Belkin spokesperson had this to say, “TuneStudio is compact, portable, and tough enough to withstand life in a rehearsal room or in a garage. Bands can easily attach instruments and microphones to TuneStudio and record jam sessions directly onto an iPod. Podcasters can also use this device to record their shows either in a studio or on location.”

vet, dit is een perfecte manier om live opnames te maken van optredens. 2 mics ophangen + line out van de FOH tafel, mix van de 2 instellen en gaan met die banaan.

alleen wel jammer dat er geen s/pdif opzit en bypass knoppen voor eq en compressie.

Jammer van die ipod functie.

Een usb ingang voor usbsticks, mp3spelers, externe schijven, en als je persé wil ook ipods zou veel cooler zijn natuurlijk.

Tja met 180 dollar ben je der nog niet, want er moet ook nog een Ipod bijkomen.
"heb je die dan niet?" Nee, die heb ik niet.

Wat Franz.K zegt lijkt mij ook toffer. Maar dan van bijv. soundcraft en dan zonder Ipod-functie (evt met kabeltje dan) en dan ook 180dollar

Nee, zonder Ipod blijft er niks over van die tafel. En geluidskwaliteit is ineens niet meer belangrijk want er kan een Ipod in dus dat is al leuk zat?? Ik ga me met de titel: Idd Lachen Maks

Ik bedoel de uitgebreide USB- hubs ed (levenslange garantie).

Mmm 4eq's en een compressor + mixer voor 180 Dollar.
Dat kan niks zijn, en het is te duur voor een gadget.

ik heb een belkin bluetooth usb stick en dat werkt prima ! ik vind het best een erg geslaagd idee .. usb zou idd ook handig zijn.
