hey voor de supergestelden onder ons :

EXTREMELY RARE!! Steiner / Crumar EVI (Stock Model) - PRICE REDUCED!!!

Attention BRASS players! Here is a very rare Crumar EVI brass-style analog wind controller designed by the great Nyle Steiner and marketed in the early 1980's by the Italian company Crumar. Unlike the unit above, this unit has no modifications done to it. It is a stock unit. It has been completely tested by EVI player Matt Traum at Patchman Music. This EVI is from the personal collection of EVI player Matt Traum. Patchman Music offers numerous mods which can be done to the unit for additional cost if desired. Click here for a link to some of the mods offered. This Crumar EVI is strictly analog- there are no MIDI capabilities on this unit. Since it is TRUE ANALOG, it has an incredibly smooth and responsive sound. You can literally hum while playing and the breath sensor is so fast that it will modulate the sound coming from the synth! You can listen to numerous mp3 clips of the Crumar EVI in action here. The Crumar EVI has a 6+ octave range and even more range is available by changing the TUNE knob. This is a great, compact, real analog EVI. Just plug it in to an amp and you are playing. Additional information on the Crumar EVI is available here. This sale includes the Crumar EVI in its hard case, and a copy of the user manual complete with fingering chart. The instrument is in excellent condition and works and plays perfectly. MIDI EVI players will also find this EVI very rewarding and satisfying to play since there is no latency nor stepping on this ALL ANALOG instrument. This is a very rare item so do not delay. $895 + $25 shipping/handling to US destinations only.

man, man wat zou ik deze graag bespelen ! :kimono:

Crumar

"The Italian musical instrument industry is based, like a more famous Italian organization, very much on family lines. The founder, and namesake, of Crumar was Mario Crucianelli, and Piero Crucianelli [Mario's brother] was the president of Elka until it was sold to GEM." Crumar started out manufacturing electric pianos and string synthesizers, combining the two in 1977 with the Multiman. Crumar started working on polyphonic synths toward the end of the '70's, producing the Stratus and the Trilogy. In 1983, they started producing synthesizers under the name of Bit, which were marketed in the US under the name Unique.

In the early '80's, Crumar "formed a design/distribution collaborative with the New York-based Music Technology. Crumar and the MT designers worked in conjunction with some respected names in electronic music to produce the GDS (General Development System) and the Synergy. These leviathans, which used additive synthesis technology and phase modulation, were bulky and cumbersome, but they were state-of-the-art in 1981."

"Crumar ceased trading in 1987, just as they were about to launch a high-quality sampler at the lower end of the market."

THIS IS NOT THE FULL STORY !
THE FULL STORY IS YET TO COME! :D

Crumar Performer

The Performer is a polyphonic analog Strings and Brass machine produced at the end of the 1970's by the Italian synth company. It is slightly compact with just 49 keys. But it is fully polyphonic - you can play all 49 notes simultaneously! Programming is simple and clearly laid-out with just 15 sliders and a few buttons. A solid black chassis and wood end-cheeks round out this classic and often overlooked string machine.

The Performer is best remembered for its Strings. A simple 3-band equalizer with high, mid and low sliders can be used to give the strings shimmering sparkle or moody dark timbres. The Strings section uses two oscillators per voice with 8' and 16' settings. Simple Attack and Sustain sliders give you some control of your string's envelope settings.

The Brass section is less exciting. It uses a single oscillator with just a square wave to generate a weak Brass sound. It has a low-pass VCF filter with resonance, but it too is pretty weak. Simple Attack and Decay sliders control its limited envelope settings too.

The LFO is pretty nice, with delay length, rate and depth control. It can modulate both Brass and String sections and can be routed either to the VCF or pitch. There are three outputs on the back: main output, brass output and signal output (for external processing) as well as CV and Gate connections. It has been used by Duran Duran.
