This is my old Multi-klone analogue electronic drum kit, which I have sadly finally got to let go - due to studio relocation soon.
This is basically an early eighties Simmons kit clone, complete with a set of five velocity sensitive trigger pads and 5-channel analogue drum synthesiser. Each channel on the drum synth has controls for:
decay
sweep
tune
level
repeat
attack
q/tone
bend
noise
There is also a general volume control and 'noise quality' setting. There is a main ouput, headphones and a seperate output for each of the 5 channels, making this a pretty comprehensive spec for a machine of this type.
I've been using this recently with my 'modern' midi studio - triggering the synth channels using outputs from a drum machine, and it seems to work pretty well, and sounds pretty damn good, to be honest. Really proper analogue synthdrum sounds.
The picture is NOT of the MultiKlone, but of the 2-channel 'Dual Klone', a cut-down version of the my unit. This is just because I can't find a picture of this machine anywhere and I don't have a digital camera - sorry!
Feel free to email me for more details!
