Not 19th of july as previously announced but Friday 24th of July.

AND: If you a joining the Studio Stekker festival on Saturday this night will be included in your ticket!
If you are not going to Studio Stekker compulsory contribution will be 5 euro’s and of course we are accepting donations again.

Zie ticket info in de volgende post.

We will have quite the spectacle for a programme.

19:00 Doors
19:30 Falafelbiels
20:30 Mark Verbos
21:30 Richard Devine
22:30 Colin Benders
23:30 Possibly some more fun.

19:30
Falafelbiels (http://falafular.org)

Falafelbiels is part of the Noodlebar collective from Rotterdam who started modular events in the Netherlands. These guys are our heroes. If you think modular synths are expensive, talk to Niels. He’ll tell you you are right and you should build them yourself. There is not a module in Niels’ system that he has not put together himself, in fact he also built his own case. So if you want to hear more about the idea of getting into modular synths on your own terms, come early and let Niels give you some ideas.

20:30
Mark Verbos (http://www.verboselectronics.com)

Mark Verbos is a music producer/engineer and music equipment technician with 20 years of experience. He is known to the synth community for his work with vintage Buchla systems as well as custom modules that work with them. His designs are focused on discrete transistor circuits, hardware CMOS logic and various vintage electronics design techniques, however they are presented with an understanding of how modular gear is used by this generation.

Also, we can tell you that Mark released on Eindhoven’s Djax-Up-Beats in the early 2000’s. He will demonstrate his new line of modules and perform on them.

21:30
Richard Devine (http://www.devinesound.net)

Modular synth master Richard Devine’s music moves like a slightly unhinged force, in rapid clicks and metallic thrums or funk addled scattering beats. An Atlanta-based producer with full length releases on Warp, Schematic, Sublight and Detroit Underground in the past 15 years, as well as an accomplished sound designer and maker of synthesizer kits (among soundtracks and samples, he’s built an expansion pack for Moog Music’s Animoog app), Devine made huge professional inroads in the digital realm, yet recently felt called to the modular and analog in his own music. Constantly reconfiguring his own hardware systems, Devine creates music by processing layer after layer of sounds derived from hip hop, experimental, field recordings and electronic tracks; and in 2013 released his own official sample library, The Electronic Music Manuscript, through Sony Creative Software. Performing live, he’s equipped with an enviable arsenal of sounds and the ability to manipulate them to his experimental liking, constructing a sonic experience that’s never the same twice.

22.30
Colin Benders
