IMSTA FESTA is een gratis online evenement voor iedereen in Noord-Amerika die geïnteresseerd is in het maken van muziek: van semi-professionele en professionele muzikanten tot songwriters, muziekproducenten en geluidstechnici tot muziekstudenten en docenten.

John Merlo - Sonnox


John Merlo is a long time tracking and mixing Engineer. He is the owner and operator of The Beacon Studios and co-found of Black Label Sonics. The beacon studios is a multifaceted media production company located in Bakersfield California. Their studio specializes in cinematic content creation for creative and corporate clients.



Dre Malik - Serato SAMPLE


Dré Malik is a recording/mixing engineer and music composer from Bakersfield, CA. With over a decade of experience in music production, Dré has gained the trust of many artists all over the country helping produce hundreds of songs. In 2021 Dré was the recipient of the “Producer of the Year” award for the Bakersfield Music Awards. Dré is most best known for his extensive catalogue as a sound engineer and music producer on Hip-Hop, R&B, and Pop tracks. Dré currently operates his own production company.



OP! - Serato Studio


OP! is the Artist Relations Manager (East Coast) for Serato. As a long time DJ, producer, and educator, OP! works with artists daily demonstrating how they can use Serato software products to make and play music.



Tony Franco - PSP Audioware


Tony Franco is a freelance recording and mixing engineer. Tony had cut his teeth working with artists in studios, both small and large, around the greater Los Angeles area. Tony has over half a decade of experience mixing remotely for independent artists from around the world. He specializes in working with Hip Hop and electronic pop genres, but ventures out to work with occasional singer song-writers and rock bands as well. Tony likes to work with artists and musicians on a personal level. He feels that creating a positive vibe, and maintaining open communication between the artist and mixer or producer, can nurture more successful songs.

Luis Tineo - Oek Sound


Luis Tineo also known as Sabor (pronounced/ Saab-or) is an american music producer, music & film mix engineer & DJ. Studied in NYC at Center for the Media Arts and best known for his extensive work catalog as a sound engineer at some of the top recording studios in the NY area like the legendary hip-hop studio D&D & Chung King with credits that are considered to be iconic projects in the Hip-Hop and Dance music genres.



JERRY MATEO - KUASSA


Jerry Mateo is a recording and mixing engineer, software educator, live sound engineer, and a video content creator for many software companies. Born and raised in Los Angeles area, Jerry has played many styles of music in various bands for years, ranging from his classically trained roots all the way to hard hitting metal. He is currently recording and teaching many upcoming local acts how to record and write music that will translate the message they are trying to express.



Fulya Çelikel Soğancı - KV331


Fulya maintains a performance/production career as a progressive metal artist and an academic. She studied classical piano and composition at Bilkent University in Ankara, followed by two Master’s Degrees from the Netherlands and ITU. After working in Europe for several years, she returned to Turkey to study musicology at the Center for Advanced Studies in Music and completed her PhD on metal music in 2019. Fulya is working at KV331 Audio as a mobile product manager: She vastly enjoys the flexibility, yet uncompromised quality of mobile music production and has been producing music in every genre with the mobile versions of SynthMaster and SynthMaster One.



Derek Floyd - IK MULTIMEDIA


Artist, Musician, Songwriter are just a few of the words that describe Derrick Floyd. By day, he is the National Sales and Product Specialist Manager for the groundbreaking music technology company, IK Multimedia who is one of the leaders in making professional software tools for musicians, producers and engineers. Also being the pioneers of mobile recording revolution has given Derrick a front row seat at the helm of the constant evolving world of creative music technology products.



Brian Kullas - NATIVE INSTRUMENTS


Brian Kullas is a classically trained musician who started playing piano at the age of six. Born and educated in Connecticut, Brian studied at Dickinson College to pursue a traditional music degree in performance and composition. He soon discovered that his real passion was electronic music production and composition. Brian attended Dubspot Electronic Music Production and DJ School, where he was able to hone his music production skills. Currently working at Native Instruments as Lead US Product Specialist, he's always at the forefront of the latest music trends and technology. Coming from a traditional music background, Brian fuses classic orchestration with cutting edge sound design.



Derek Olds - Melodyne


Along with his Artistic and Production pursuits, Derek Olds is currently an Instructor at The Los Angeles Film & Recording School in Hollywood, and is heavily involved in the Audio Engineering/Tech worlds. Since 2014, he has been honored to help run the Celemony Melodyne booths at NAMM, AES, IMSTA, and the Grammy P&E party. As an Artist, Derek will be releasing his first solo project October 2021 which he wrote, produced and engineered himself. We often hear him describe the 'computer' as just another instrument - another tool to convey emotion.



Ruben “MusicMan” Garcia - ACON DIGITAL


Educator, Guitarist, Audio Engineer and Entrepreneur, the CEO of the 5 Star Rated Tech Services company MusicMan Engineering that service the technical needs of multimedia professionals, artists, businesses, educational institutions and more. Ruben also mentors students in the areas of professional audio and computer technology, preparing them for the rigors they will encounter in the field and in the ever expanding digital world.



J Chris Griffin - ANTARES


J. Chris Griffin is heavily involved in the Music industry, working on records with John Legend, Kanye West, Madonna, Missy Elliott, Kelly Clarkson, The Corrs, and jazz guitarist John McLaughlin. A 24-year SESAC affiliate, his own compositions and remixes are all over international television and cinema with credits ranging from MGM Studios to CBS's "NCIS.” Chris is a decade-long adjunct faculty member at New York University and is based out of Engine Room Audio in Manhattan.



Kevin Ochoa - Polyverse


Kevin has heavily focused on the technical side of production. His love of sound design and education has helped when delivering masterclasses for various synths. Kevin is also a winner of many Dance Music competitions and when he’s not focusing on the aggressive sounds of Hardstyle, Kevin relaxes by producing Melodic Techno.



Eric Burgess - FabFilter


Eric Burgess works as a content creator and teacher. Perhaps best known for his work on YouTube as Composing Gloves, he attended Citrus college and obtained the highest award available, the Key of Knowledge. He has degrees in music performance, audio engineering, and Math. He works in the industry closely with plug-in developers, and as a freelance sound designer and producer. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering at Cal State Fullerton.



Carlo Libertini - Izotope / NUGEN Audio


Carlo Libertini is an audio production engineer and product training specialist. He is a musician and song writer with years of experience recording and producing a variety of musical genres from hard rock to spoken word, and a content creator for Produce Like A Pro and Pro Mix Academy. Currently, he conducts on-line training seminars, product marketing services, software demonstrations, and video training tutorials.



Wilkis Figuereo - SONIBLE


Wilkis Figuereo is a CEO, Entrepreneur, Producer and Engineer with over 20 years experience. He is the owner of Itec Audio Studios in New Jersey, one of the premier Avid Authorized training centers in the North East United States. Wilkis also serves as an Educational Consultant for Music Production programs across the nation and a partner of NYU’s Hip Hop Education Center.
