I have an analog voice board (16 voice, 32 VCO, 32 VCF, etc) for the
Alesis Andromeda for sale.
This board was the factory board that shipped with my A6, and I have
used it for a little over a year. All voices tune and calibrate
perfectly.
The reason I am selling is because of one small issue that has existed
since I purchased it. Voice 10 does not respond to the noise AMOUNT
parameter, it is always at 100%. That is, when a noise source is
selected (white, pink, red), voice 10 will always have the noise amount
at maximum regardless of where the noise amount knob is set.
There are two ways to handle this. First, many programs do not use
noise, so you can simply make sure that the source is set to 'off' and
all 16 voices are perfect. With patches that have noise on, you can
disable voice 10 (I usually left the A6 in 15 voice mode just to make
it easy).
A new voice board from Alesis/Numark is $400 + tax + shipping. I'll
let this one go for $150. This is ideal for A6 owners who either have
a voice board that won't tune up or stay in tune (mine is rock solid)
or for those who want an inexpensive backup voice board for the future.
Please email me privately.
Thanks, Scott
