NAMM 2005: Roland V Synth XT

Op de Namm presenteert Roland de nieuwe V synth XT, jawel, een rackmodule van de V-synth!

De TC M300 heeft óók beugeltjes aan de voorkant, maar die kan je ook nie los halen.

weird.. het eerst wat ik deed toen ik mijn M300 uit de doos haalde was met een inbussleuteltje de boutjes van de rackoortjes losdraaien en de oortjes er afhalen.
Boutjes terug oortjes in de prullebak. Ging prima. Is er wat veranderd aan de behuizing soms?

Hij bedoeld dat je daar ook niet het frontpaneel eraf kan halen. Oortjes kunnen er nog steeds gewoon af

elke winkel in Nederland,is wettelijk geregeld....of het nou om synths of televisies gaat,je mag altijd je spullen terugbrengen....alleen krijg je bij veel winkels niet je geld terug,maar kun je ruilen of krijg je een tegoedbon...(staat in de voorwaarden op je aankoopbon hoe de winkel dat regelt)

Pfff....dit noem ik geen rack meer, met zo'n kompleet touch- en kleurenscherm. Een rack moet compact en niet al te veel knoppen bevatten naar mijn mening. Met zo'n bakbeest als deze, kan je beter de hele klavier erbij kopen, niet dan? Volgens mij scheelt het qua prijs ook geen donder!

Supersaw komt naar de V-Synth!

Roland's flagship synth grows even stronger with the release of Version 2 software. This user-installable system upgrade adds significant new features to the already-powerful V-Synth.

V-Synth Version 2 has a completely new set of patches. The "V-Synth Producer Edition" is a collection of sounds from an acclaimed roster of international artists. Many of the sounds are familiar at first touch -- EPs, strings, synth leads, etc. -- but, in V-Synth fashion, all patches allow instant and exotic tonal changes via modulation.

Additional analog-modeled oscillators have been added in Version 2, including the massive SuperSaw, which generates multiple sawtooth waveforms in unison, the Polyphonic Feedback Oscillator for screaming sounds, and the X-mod Oscillator for creating clangorous distorted timbres. All these can be modified and modulated through multiplex synthesis only available from the V-Synth.

Also new is the Rhythm Set function, which deploys complete V-Synthesis power separately to each key for complex and expressive drum kits. Program a multi-dimensional, Time-Tripping swirling cymbal with Side Band Filter on one key, a monstrous sub-octave kick on another, and so on -- with each key offering its own independent realtime processing parameters.

The new Sound Shaper function allows new sounds to be created with the virtual "know-how" of professional sound designers. By selecting a destination sound type -- whether a pad, bass, lead sound, etc. -- this macro function guides users quickly through relevant parameters while editing. Complex editing is made easy.

Dan hadden ze het net als bij de S6000 los koppelbaar moeten maken. Dan werkt het misschien.
