Vorige week kreeg ik een mailtje van Oberheim:
Thank you again for your interest in the Oberheim TVS-Pro Special Edition. We are nearing completion of the first select run of units, and the number of people interested in purchasing far exceeds our supply. We think that the fairest approach will be to randomly select from those that are still interested. For our customers living outside of the U.S., we regret to inform you that we will not be able to ship any of this first run of units internationally.
The first units are expected to be ready to ship in June, and will each be hand signed by Tom Oberheim. The final price is $4,995, plus shipping (sales tax will also be added if shipping within California).
If you are still interested, please register to be in the random selection at this website: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SCXHRB9. Please use the same email address that you used to previously contact us. Please only enter once, since duplicate entries will be removed. As soon as we have units ready to go we will contact you if you are selected to provide details of pre-payment method and shipping information. If you decide not to purchase, we will select another person from the list.
We do not know at this time when additional units may be available. We will let everyone know when we have more information. Thank you again for your support, and best of luck!

Toch raar, hè? Ik heb er hier ook een staan, een re-issue dus... okee, de MIDI blijft af en toe hangen, maar verder heb ik er 0 problemen mee (gehad). Alles werkt echt prima - en inderdaad, die sound!
Maar erg vet ja.
