"Sorry about the lack of updates, we've had a lot to deal with in the last year and it hasn't been clear to us when we might get things running more smoothly.
Now we are settled in the new office location, we are making changes to the way we operate that we hope will finally let us bring the wait down, but it's going to be a while yet before we can see when that might be.
What will be the last UK-produced Cirklon stock ran out at the end of last year. Over the period of moving office, we have sold off some remaining B-grade stock.
With the disruption that resulted from the combination of breaking off existing supplier relationships, then having to re-locate the business, we're several months further behind.
One of our biggest problems last year was a very high reject rate on the LCD modules we use.
In the course of looking for an alternative supplier for those parts, it became clear that the monochrome LCD is not where things are headed.
The recent announcement of the coming MIDI 2.0 spec also suggested it was time to look at updating the Cirklon hardware.
As a result, when production resumes this summer, things will look a little different...
