Ik vond dit op het internet, ik denk dat meteen vele denken, heej een prototype rozzbox, want hij lijkt erg veel op de rozzbox zoals hij eerst bedoelt was, een sigaren doos synth.
Hier is hij ook verder geevolueerd, als het minimale cigaren doos idee, allleen alle knoppen missen.

De sigarendoos zal je er wel niet bijkrijgen :) al met al best een leuk initiatief, je kan er aan toevoegen kwa controllers wat je maar wilt, leuk als bouw...
Dit zou de nieuwe Motif XS6/7/8 moeten zijn. Volgens deze bron wordt dit de nieuwe Motif XS.
Uiteraard (nog) geen officiële bevestiging maar dat is bij Yamaha altijd het geval.

Waren de onderscheidende capaciteiten van Cool Edit al behoorlijk, Adobe maakte het met de opvolger Audition tot een meer professionele omgeving. Met het nieuwe Soundbooth zegt men nog een stapje verder te gaan. Test en oordeel zelf deze Beta release!

So, what's new in this release?
Well, this time the change-log got pretty huge, so let us just point out some highlights:
Added a Mixer, for a fast access and total control of all used DSP effects and volume levels within Renoise. DSP effects can be easily accessed and modified (copied/pasted/ moved/deleted by keyboard shortcuts or drag'n'drop). Mini sliders (DSP parameter controls) can be optionally shown in the mixer strips for those DSP devices parameters, that you want to control via the Mixer. All components of the Mixer (mute/solo, panning, faders, volume, routings) can be hidden to get a better overview.

Schijnt dat het bij Lexicon nogal bergafwaarts is gegaan sinds de overname door Harman (rond de tijd van de PCM-80 en later). Nou lees ik hier dat een aantal mensen van de Lexicon staff een nieuw bedrijf hebben gestart genaamd Bricasti Design. En wat denk je? Nog nooit iets over geschreven op dit forum! Dat kan en mag niet zo blijven! ;)

Het was al een tijdje bekend dat het eraan zat te komen maar het is nu officieel leverbaar vanaf 15 september:
de nieuw Mbox 2 Pro van Digidesign.
Deze wordt in 2 uitvoeringen op de markt gezet: de Pro en de Pro Factory waarbij de Factory uitvoering een extra groot plugin pakket bevat. Prijs zal ongeveer rond 900 euro zijn voor de Pro Factory.
Belangrijkste verschillen met de Mbox 2: firewire interface, wordclock i/o, dedicated monitor uitgangen en sample rates nu tot 24/96Khz.
